2017 National Gathering
Join us for our 2017 National Gathering as we explore how we as church leaders and congregations form Jesus followers who live as God’s people sent into the world. Through inspiring worship, preaching, presentations, and panel discussions led by missional practitioners and theologians, we will learn:
- how spiritual formation and discipleship relate to missional transformation.
- what theological, institutional, and programmatic changes are important in moving churches from an attractional to missional mindset.
- what are some of the best missional practices and experiments we can glean from within our network of Fellowship Community churches and beyond.
Who are the missional practitioners, theologians, and preachers who will lead us in this conversation? They include:
- Main Presenter: Alex Absalom, DandelionResourcing.
com. Alex is a coach, speaker, and writer on the practicalities of transitioning churches into disciple-making cultures – especially through combining missional living with being naturally supernatural. - Preachers:
- The Reverend Dr. M. Craig Barnes, President of Princeton Theological Seminary
- Dr. Alice Ridgill, Pastor, New Faith Presbyterian Church, Greenwood, SC
- Dr. Carlos Emilio Ham, President, Matanzas Evangelical Theological Seminary, Matanzas, Cuba
- Bible Study Leader: Dr. Mark Roberts, Executive Director of the Max De Pree Center for Leadership, Fuller Theological Seminary, Pasadena, CA, and author of a new commentary on Ephesians.
- Panelists: Some of TFC’s members – because one of the best ways to be a community is to learn from one another.
