A Pastoral Rule reflects on practices that make for faithful ministry. It is aware of the challenges ministry brings. It is written in the knowledge that no rule is perfect, and the conviction that a guide to good practices can be a real help as we seek faithfully to serve Jesus Christ and his people.
We see it in the news. We see it in our churches. We see it in the communities we serve – We live in a time of deep divisions.
But our call is clear: Since we are united in Christ, we must COME TOGETHER, and live into the unity Paul describes in Philippians 2.
Join us at our National Gathering, February 20th – 22nd, at Peachtree Presbyterian Church, in Atlanta, Georgia, to explore how we can answer this call to unity. Over the next few weeks, Fellowship Community board members will write short posts that introduce and unpack this focus. Stay tuned for that, speaker announcements, and the beginning of registration.
